“Be You. Be Weird. Be RAD.”
— RAD's motto
Rooting Around Downtown is a kava and botanicals bar in Daytona Beach with a personality as big as its motto. I designed and built a custom site that puts the full drinks menu, four daily happy hours, weeknight specials and the monthly membership front and center, with a map and a blog to bring people through the door. I host it and look after it too.

A lot going on behind one bar.
Kava, botanical teas, kombucha on tap and coffee, each with its own sizes, flavors and prices. Add four happy hours a day, a different special every weeknight and a new membership, and there was a lot to get across before someone walks in.
Menu first. Vibe always.
I laid the whole menu out by drink, with clear prices and add-on flavors. Happy hours, nightly specials and the $50 membership get their own bold blocks in the bar's teal and pink, and a map shows exactly where to find it downtown.
Everything you need before you go.
Visitors can check prices, catch a happy hour and see tonight's special in seconds. The blog handles promos and kava culture, and a newsletter signup keeps regulars in the loop.
Eight pieces.
One weird, welcoming bar.

I text one person and it's done — new price, new special, whatever we need. No tickets, no account manager, just the guy who built it. The site feels like the bar, and that's exactly what we wanted.
