Drop a 3D model, get a clean, dimensioned drawing — width, height, depth, custom rulers, labels and images. Perfect for Etsy listings, print-shop quotes and manufacturing docs.

**Made for:** Etsy sellers, 3D print shops, Product designers, Engineers, Makers & hobbyists, Manufacturing quotes, Kickstarter campaigns, Instruction manuals

## Features

- **Drop & go** — Binary or ASCII STL, multiple files at once. Loads instantly.
- **Every angle** — Front, back, top, bottom, iso — or any custom angle you like.
- **Split view** — Slice the model open to show internal geometry.
- **Auto dimensions** — Width, height and depth measured and drawn for you.
- **Ruler tool** — Measure between any two points on the model.
- **Text & images** — Labels, logos and callouts — branded drawings in one go.
- **Grids & backgrounds** — Solid colors, grid, graph or dot patterns. Rows, columns and alignment tools.
- **Units your way** — Millimeters, centimeters, inches — decimal or fractional.

## Why it was built

Every 3D-printing seller hits the same wall: buyers want to know **how big** the thing is. Opening a full CAD package just to draw three dimension lines is overkill — so I built a tool that does exactly that, in the browser, in seconds.

> Drop the file, get the drawing. That's the whole idea.

It's made for Etsy and Amazon sellers who need clean listing images, print shops sending quotes to customers, and designers documenting parts for manufacturing. Everything runs on your own machine, so your models stay private.

## How it works

1. **Drop** — Drop an STL anywhere on the page. It's processed right on your machine — nothing is uploaded.
2. **Dimension** — Pick a view, toggle auto-dimensions, add rulers, text and images. Arrange several models side by side.
3. **Export** — JPG for free, or go Pro for PNG, SVG, DXF and PDF up to 7680px wide.

Vector exports drop straight into Illustrator, Inkscape or your CAD tool. Raster exports go up to 7680px — billboard-sharp.

## Frequently asked questions

### Are my STL files uploaded anywhere?

No. Files are processed on your machine, right in your browser. Nothing leaves your computer unless you choose to save a composition to the cloud with Pro.

### Which STL formats does it support?

Both binary and ASCII STL. You can drop several files at once and arrange them in rows or columns on the same artboard.

### Do I need to install anything?

Nope. It runs in any modern browser on Windows, macOS or Linux.

### What does Pro add?

PNG, SVG, DXF and PDF exports up to 7680px, plus cloud storage for your compositions — for $5/month.

### Can you build a tool like this for my business?

Yes — that's literally what I do. [Tell me your idea →](https://dcarock.com/start-a-project)
